I will overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified boxing king Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently being planned for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
