Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore that lasts through early December. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" developed by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the entire collection carries a value of over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options available here.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is certainly permanent access to the CC3+ software, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This package suits existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages suitable for novices and experts, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access seeking permanent licensing. But it's obviously more advantageous for map-making newbies considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.

Charitable Component

In this instance, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide through education, health care, and emergency relief.
